When I said I'd be posting less, I really wasn't expecting to go on hiatus for a month. I thought I'd have time to squeeze in one, maybe two posts a week, but I've been so busy that I literally haven't had any time whatsoever. I'm manager of my school's book exchange so I've been working 30 hours a week on average (not counting the time I put in doing work stuff at home!) plus I attend school full-time, I'm taking 3 courses and I'm a night student so my days are extremely long, plus I have Saturday classes so I only get one day off a week. But I finally finished working last week! So that means I'll have more time to post! I may not post as much at first, I have a lot of homework to catch up on, but I will definitely post once or twice a week! I have a looot of stuff to tell you guys about! I've tried out quite a few products this past month, rediscovered old favorites, have a bunch of new products on my wishlist, did some shopping with my first paycheque, some reviews, etc.
I was also planning on doing a "Back to School" makeup post a month ago when I first started work. I even did the write up and everything but didn't post it because I wanted to include actual pictures of the two looks. So I know we've been back in school for a month, but I'm still going to post it because it'll give you ideas to start from if you're not sure what to wear to school or where the boundary between night club and school appropriate ends.
I had also started working on a Haul post, but I've bought so much stuff in the last month it would be incredibly long to post everything and it would feel a little show-off-y, which I don't want. Let me just say that I've got a lot of things to show you all!!!!
Natural Look using MAC and Nars
I've done a more peachy look today instead of the usual pink. I was a bit hesitant at first because I don't find I look good when I wear oranges and peaches. But I really pulled off today's look well! I've used a number of new products since the last time I posted so let me give you a quick opinion on each of these products. MAC Bare Study Paintpot is a really nice shimmery nude type color, just make sure you don't put a lot on because it will crumble off. I don't get this problem with my other Paint Pots, I think it's due to the shimmery finish. I used my pinky finger to put it on this time and no crumbling :) I used the same eyeshadows I had used in a previous look. I find when you put Shroom on top of Bare Study that you get an even lighter and brighter lid color. I also find that Bare Study gives your eyeshadow a yellowy finish. I used MAC Feline and let me tell you, it's my new favorite eyeliner. It doesn't stick to my contact lenses, yet it stays put on my eyes all day. It's a true deep black color. I love it. You also don't need a lot to get a good color payoff, so you're not constantly sharpening it. I also got Too Faced's Better Than Sex Mascara. I can't say it's better than sex, but it is a good mascara. It gives them volume and makes them look great. I have to say that I still think Orgasm has the top spot. I didn't fall in love with Sex the way I fell in love with Orgasm. But that's not to say it isn't a great mascara, because I still use it a lot.
Another new product is the NARS Adult Content Blush Palette. It contains 1 bronzer, 2 blushes, and 1 highlight color. I've used all 4 shades and let me tell you, I love each and every single one of those shades. It's versatile, you can either go pink or peach and then wear it with the bronzer and highlight. I really find that both blushes look great on me, and paired with the bronzer and highlight, my face just glows. I love it. The shades are: Zen (beige bronzer), Desire (hot pink blush), Deep Throat (peachy blush) and Miss Liberty (shimmery highlight). This is an awesome palette. Love love love. I also got the MAC X Antonio Lopez Pink Face Palette and I love it too. Both palettes have similarities, as they use similar colors, obviously. I ended up with both because I bought one and my mom bought the other on the same day and we didn't know that the other had gone shopping.
Speaking of MAC X Antonio Lopez, I bought the Nude Lip Palette as well. I used the middle peachy shade with this look, and it paired up perfectly with the blush and the overall look. I tried out the two other colors, which are a light bubblegum pink and a frosty nude pink. I love all the lipstick colors in this palette, so I had to get it. I put NARS Orgasm lipgloss on top to give it a bit of pink and to gloss up my lips.
I've already spoken a ton, so I'll forego the makeup instructions for today. I'm sure you all know what to do, this is a basic look today.

Thanks for reading, and again, I apologize that I couldn't write sooner! I've been super busy! Now that the first round of tests is over, I can put some time into my blog. I've been testing out a lot of products lately so I can't wait to post about them and tell you guys what I think! I'm not the kind of person that wears the same look everyday, I like to change it up!
So did you enjoy today's look? Do you think I should start wearing more peach shades or should I stick with the pink? What did you think of the new NARS blush palettes? I personally really love Adult Content. All the colors are wearable and look great on me. I also enjoyed my MAC X Antonio Lopez nude lipstick set. I've tried out all 3 lipsticks and I like all of them! I see myself using the pinks more, but the peach one looked great with this look so I'll have to pair it with Deep Throat or Orgasm more often! MAC Feline eyeliner was also another great find this month. This is now my new favorite eyeliner of all time. I've also been getting into Paint Pots lately and Bare Study is just such a great paint pot to have when you want to do a simple look. Honestly, just smear some Bare Study on your eyelid, put on some mascara, and you're ready to go.
So should I start wearing more peach or should I just stick with pink?
