Ingredients for making the Vegetable Masala:
Chopped Onions from 2 onions
Fresh green peas
Chopped tomatoes from 3 tomatoes
Grated carrot from 2 carrots
Coriander leaves
Cumin seeds 1 tea spoon
Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
Coriander seed powder 2 tea spoons
Oil 3 tea spoons
Any other vegetable like Capsicum, Grated cabbage etc of your choice.
Method for making Vegetable Masala Dosai:
Heat a pan with oil. Saute it with cumin seeds. Fry onions till golden brown. Now add the powders and salt. Add the green peas and fry for a minute.
Then add tomatoes and fry well till it becomes pulpy. Now add the grated carrot and mix well. When every thing mixes well and comes together switch off the stove and add chopped coriander leaves.
Make thin dosa and pour a tea spoon of oil around it. In between the dosa keep a tb spoon of veg masala and spread it gently. Roll the dosa as you prefer and serve. It need not be cooked on the other side. Since it is thin, one side cooking is enough.
Note: This veg stuff will be too yummy to have even with rotis and breads...
